Steven Williamson, University of North Florida, et.al., 2013 This study sought to link consumers' attitudes to purchasing behaviors to identify their perceptions of the paper industry's efforts to create sustainable business practices. Specifically, the study examined the impact of consumer knowledge of environmental practices on their perception of the sustainability performance of the paper industry by focusing on four categories: the destruction of trees, sustainable raw material usage, sustainable production processes, and the environmental impact of digital media.
