Sustainable Green Printing Partnership (SGP), a non-profit

organization continues to lead the standard for validating sustainable

SGPs success reflects the growing public interest in sustainability
as well as the advantages offered by Certification. The organization
seeks to build upon this momentum and has identified key goals for the
coming months: SGP aims to increase patron involvement and collaborate
with more sustainability-minded organizations, thus expanding the size
and influence of the Certified community.
Having been a part of SGP since its inception, I am thrilled by the
organizations growth, states Paul Lilienthal, Chair, SGP Board. SGP
has proven itself to be the sustainability standard for the graphics
communications industry, and I, along with the Board of Directors, look
forward to facilitating its continued growth.
As part of its growth strategy, SGP is hosting webinars,
participating in speaking engagements, and expanding outreach efforts
with new initiatives and dynamic partnerships through the remainder of
2013. Most recently, SGP found success with the implementation of its
Take Action campaign and its partnership with online sustainability
awareness community Re-nourish. Take Action highlights the many
benefits and ROI of Certification and sustainability. The campaign
actively encourages printers, print buyers, suppliers, and other members
of the graphic communications industry to align with SGP, whether
through Certification, patronage, or public preference of SGP Certified
printers in a formal procurement policy. SGPs partnership with
Re-nourish furthers the visibility of Certified printers by connecting
the communication design community with a list of print facilities
committed to sustainable operations.
About SGP

responsibility through sustainable green printing practices. To receive
SGP Certification, print facilities go well beyond compliance with
applicable local, state, and federal laws. They establish sustainability
