Perhaps nowhere is the emotional connection to print and paper more apparent than in a holiday card or letter.
Perhaps nowhere is the emotional connection to print and paper more apparent than in a holiday card or letter. The sheer volume of holiday mail proves it: during the 2015 holiday season, the United States Postal Service expects to deliver about 15.5 billion cards, letters, flats, and packages. That’s a lot of holiday cheer!
According to USPS projections, mail carriers will deliver approximately 600 million packages between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Eve—an increase of 10.5 percent over last year’s volume. “Customers can count on the Postal Service and our more than 600,000 dedicated employees to deliver their holiday gifts, cards and letters,” said Megan J. Brennan, Postmaster General and CEO.
The USPS will even be delivering packages seven days a week in selected high-volume locations.
