Portland, Oregon – February 26, 2026 – Two Sides North America (TSNA), a non-profit organization advocating for the sustainable attributes of print, paper, and paper-based packaging celebrates the Envelope Manufacturers Association’s commitment to sustainability.
Envelope Manufacturing Association is the single largest trade resource and recognized representative for envelope manufacturers and printers, forms companies, packaging companies, market intermediaries, and the suppliers that support these companies. They offer information about the sustainability of envelopes through their Institute for Environmental Studies.
Envelopes are made with sustainable paper products used every day by millions of people. These products are made from renewable resources and are one of the most recyclable items on the planet.
“The EMA Foundation is grateful for our ongoing partnership with Two Sides North America and their unwavering commitment to sharing the positive story of paper, envelopes, and mail,” stated Marie Clarke, President of Envelope Manufacturers Association. “Through this collaboration, EMA members gain access to powerful research, messaging tools, and data that help us communicate the environmental and social value of our products with confidence. Two Sides’ work reinforces what our industry has long known—that paper is renewable, recyclable, and part of a truly circular economy. Together, we’re already building on that success with projects planned for 2026 to further elevate the role of mail and paper-based communication in a sustainable future.”
According to Jules Van Sant, Executive Director of Two Sides, this membership is a welcome addition to the TSNA network of sustainability-driven businesses. “EMA’s ongoing commitment to sustainability reflects our broad, shared commitment to provide clear, fact-based information about the positive environmental story of paper.”
By working together, EMA and Two Sides will help to create new opportunities to build environmental understanding and inspire the responsible use of sustainable paper solutions across a wide range of industries.
