Submitted: Two Sides North America May 1, 2025

Portland, Oregon — May, 1, 2025 — Two Sides North America (TSNA), a non-profit organization advocating for the sustainable attributes of print, paper, and paper-based packaging, is pleased to announce Visual Media Alliance (VMA) as its newest member. This partnership highlights VMA’s commitment to tell the sustainability truths around paper, print, packaging, and direct mail to the greater industry and membership they serve in Northern California.

“VMA is excited to be a new member of Two Sides, shared Shannon Wolford, Director of Sales and Membership. “We fully support their mission of dispelling environmental misconceptions regarding print, paper, and packaging. The content and research provided by Two Sides will be extremely valuable to VMA members as they strive to practice sustainable manufacturing. It is inspiring to know that we are part of a broader movement working toward a sustainable future.”

Two Sides North America is committed to correcting misconceptions and providing balanced, accurate, and verifiable information on the sustainability of print, paper, and paper-based packaging. This is achieved through various educational and marketing campaigns to inform consumers, businesses, as well as educational and trade organizations.

Ian Flynn, VMA President, is aware of the importance of the advocacy that TSNA offers the industry. “Visual Media Alliance is proud to be a new member of Two Sides North America to stop Greenwashing and spread the good word about the sustainability of print and paper.”

As a supporting member organization of Two Sides, VMA has access to valuable data to help promote and share research, resources, and facts with its Northern California members, which include merchants, printers, designers, brand owners, and consumers.

Jules Van Sant, Executive Director of Two Sides North America, showed her gratitude as more organizations see the value of membership. “As a huge fan of our industry, I am acutely aware of the importance of having as many companies as possible sharing our strong sustainability and environmental facts across the U.S. and Canada. A partnership with VMA only expands our reach, elevates our work, and helps promote paper-based everything!”
